Meet Your Chiropractor

Dr. Carmen P. Gioia has been serving the Mon Valley as a Chiropractic Physician for over 25 years. He is a graduate of Community College of Allegheny County, Gannon University and Palmer College of Chiropractic and has completed his Masters Degree in Health Education at Penn State University. He is a part time anatomy and physiology instructor at Community College of Allegheny County, South Campus and is the 1991 recipient of the Community College of Allegheny County Distinguished Alumni Award.

An author, innovator and leader in his profession, Dr. Gioia lectures across the United States on the need for preventive health care programs to help decrease the indicence of lower back problems. Dr. Gioia is a firm believer that "most back conditions can be avoided by the use of proper body mechanics, regular exercise and daily spinal hygiene."
